Install containers/KVM on formatted ext4 lvm from /dev/pve/data(thin) on an SSD or NAS drive(ironwolf or skyhawk)?

I have done this twice with a WD green and purple(both died, green was not suited for 24/7 anyways and purple was 2nd hand and I got cheap).

Now I've got an SSD, where it initializes /dev/pve/data to make use of a big chunk of the SSD's capacity, so I what I usually do is make use of it via lvcreate and mkfs.ext4 then mount that new space somewhere.
So I bought an SSD and tested the speed of my restored containers and was blown away, but planning to buy either an ironwolf or skyhawk HDD, format it to ext4 and put the container/kvm disks there.

Is this a good idea? Or am I just well-off installing all the disks on my SSD, use the ironwolf/skyhawk HDD as storage?(if it is just for storage, should I go for a barracuda instead?)

Is it best to install proxmox and all its elements on an SSD? Or a NAS HDD(Ironwolf/Skyhawk)?

I will be running:
-2 file servers
-1 dns server
-1 observium server
-1 ftp server(for our camera)
-1 windows 7 32-bit kvm.

Is this a good idea?
A filesystem does always cost a bit of performance.
But you can easily access the files and save backups and templates on this store.

Proxmox VE itself needs no fast disk. The main load is logging and this is not much data but they come continues.
The rootfs of the VMs should lay on fast Disks that can handle this multiple access.
