Hello, good afternoon

This is my first post, I salute the community.

Please could someone tell me where the failure or which direction to take?

I apologize for forwarding the message so many times, now I just read.

Should you leave 5 seconds to read the entire message, not enough time to read.

I apologize again.

I have seen the same when I do automatic backup. The only difference between the two nodes is that the node which does not fail is installed ontop of a Debian while the failing one in installed using defaults from the bare bones installer. Snippets from log below:

Hi Dietmar,

This container is stored inside '/backups/' which is /dev/sdb1 (there is no LVM on /dev/sdb1).
I have done this configuration,

Command (m for help): t
Partition number (1-4): 1
Hex code (type L to list codes): 8e

Thanks for all

Hi dietmar,

I have this configuration:

Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
none 12G 232K 12G 1% /dev
/dev/sda1 13G 9.4G 2.7G 79% /
tmpfs 12G 0 12G 0% /lib/init/rw
tmpfs 12G 23M 12G 1% /dev/shm
/dev/sdb1 111G 11G 95G 10% /backups
/dev/fuse 30M 20K 30M 1% /etc/pve
/dev/mapper/vg1-lv1 60G 180M 56G 1% /var/lib/vz
/dev/mapper/vg1-backup
20G 173M 19G 1% /backup

I understand to Proxmox can not make a snapshot on the same partition LVM / var / lib / vz where all the virtual machines, for this reason I created /dev/mapper/vg1-backup with mke2fs.

fdisk -l

Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sda1 * 1 1658 13310976+ 83 Linux
/dev/sda2 1658 1913 2046976 82 Linux swap / Solaris
/dev/sda3 1913 14593 101858272 8e Linux LVM

Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sdb1 1 14593 117218241 8e Linux LVM

As you told me, I changed system type of partition /dev/sdb1 to 8e (Linux LVM) , but the same error keeps coming.

INFO: starting new backup job: vzdump 333 --remove 0 --mode snapshot --compress gzip --storage copy123 --node moon

INFO: ionice priority: 7
INFO: starting first sync /backups/private/333/ to /backup/dump/vzdump-openvz-333-2013_02_03-22_48_19.tmp

The error does not take it for lack of space, it gives the non-recognition of lvm.

I'm working through a cluster, the failure could come around?

Thank you very much for everything!
