[SOLVED] Impact of applying SDN configuration

Hello,

When we use SDN functionality. What is the real impact of adding a Vnet? Each host seems to restart its interfaces.
Have any of you measured the impact on virtual machines and their unavailability?

the network configuration is hot reloaded, which is something very different than restarting all interfaces. do you see any issues, or were you just concerned because you misinterpreted what the reload does?

I don't have any particular problems, no, but I was curious to know what is the impact of applying the configuration if the servers are under heavy load.
The network connections would not be interrupted, but we should expect the VMs' network connections to be unresponsive for a short period of time?

I think that depends on your particular SDN configuration.
