IGMP configuration on ProCurve 2910

I have 7 nodes that work wonderfuly from years. And suddently the switch did start dropping the multicast (56% packet loss). No recent change, no heavy load, no explenation.

I've spent hours searching how to configure IGMP on this ProCurve 2920 (fw WB.16.02.0012). Documentation for 2910 is obsolete and cannot be applied. No existing thread about this subject did help. Official documentation is evasive and don't give any alternative to the « high-priority-forward » parameter that did exist on previous models. I did try « auto » and « forward », but packets still get filtered.

I did switch to unicast as a quick workaround. But if anybody has the recipe how to configure the 2920, I will appreciate.

Mir, thanks for the link. That's exactly what I did, but I still get the same packet drop when testing with omping. BTW, the packet drop is always 56% / 10 min, on this point of view it's very stable.

Have a lot of this switchtes and also the model, never had this problem... but have you contact support? You have 99 years waranty and support.
