How can i shrik a kvm disk ? it is possible. ? is there a easy way ?

In VMWare Workstation or Server you have the Option in the "VMWare Tools" to shrink a Client Disk...

the question is what you want to achieve. (vmware does not change the size of the disk seen in the guest. it just reorganizes the compressed vmdk files)

Following Situation:

I have a Windows XP VM with a qcow2 Disk that have 100 GB Space assigned.

I used 80 GB of the 100 GB in the VM. But after i delete the big Files, i use only 10 GB in the VM, but the qcow2 File is still 80GB big. I want to shrink the Disk so that the qcow2 Disk is also 10GB big....
