Hello,

I was wondering how to properly delete a VM and all of its data on the physical storage.

The way that I currently do it is I go to more / remove, and check the 2 boxes within the dialogue, as seen in the picture. Does this delete all of the VM's data or keeps it on the physical disk?

Thanks,
Mikey R

As the dialog box describes; it "destroys" disks. So pretty self-explanatory.

Like all file/disk deletes, block data may remain on the physical disk, until it is overwritten. So it can be recoverable sometimes.
To enable secure deletion so that it cannot be recovered - you'd need special software to enable this, which usually entails overwriting that area (numerous times).

Your specific scenario - will also depend on how you have your storage/medium setup.
