Home-labber here. In doing a lab, I wound up deleting a VMs .config file instead of the .lock file and totally hosed my VM. I am not concerned, since this is a VM that I was using to as a test-platform anyway and it has been destroyed and stood back up many times.

We have been using Proxmox for years and have a 3 nodes cluster that had been healthy for a while then recently we noticed that VMs couldn't be deleted (destroyed) by any means (GUI, CLI, or the API)
We don't see any storage issues that could refer to a problem with file locking, The VM disk...
I deleted a VM knowing that I had the restore backup done the day before (I do Daily Backups), but unfortunately the backup was corrupt, is there any way to recover that VM?
I no longer have any disks, I would also need to just recover the disks and then recreate the VM

I no longer have a backup of this virtual machine.
It contains very important data.
