how to increase shutdown timeout in backup?

Hi, how to increase shutdown timeout on backup with 600 to 1200 sec, my vm does not have much time to turn off, as a result, there is no archive and vm is in turned off status.
my VM:
windows server: 2008 r 2
proxmox: 5.2-5
qemu agent: 7.6.2

my backup log:

INFO: stopping vm
INFO: VM quit/powerdown failed
ERROR: Backup of VM 101 failed - command 'qm shutdown 101 --skiplock --keepActive --timeout 600' failed: exit code 255
INFO: Backup job finished with errors

Can you shutdown the vm via the gui button or via command line?
I doubt that an increase would work, the timeout is already very high.

And please upgrade to the latest version if possible.

yes, it working! during backup it is also turned off, but archiving does not take place because of a long shutdown, and my vm not poweron after error

Can you monitor the VM while backup and check if it hangs on any point?
I'm curious, how long does it take when you perform a normal shutdown?

It's not possible to increase the timeout via gui, but you can edit the vzdump config to increase the wait time.
Check the following link, there is a paramter called stopwait, there you can add a higher timeout
