High CPU usage in idle state under PBS 4.0

depending on how your datastore is configured, there might also be a systemd unit or something similar involved in making it accessible, but yes, pretty much. network configuration is also separate and might be worthy of backing up.

Thx!! Would it make sense to have a how-to procedure in the Proxmox docs regarding best practice on how to create a new PBS and migrate config from an old one? I think this would be helpful instead of hidden in this forum somewhere . . . ;)

Interesting ! Could this have something to do with the fact I am using XFS as filesystem for datastore ? I had snapshot issues with QNap Virtualization and had to remove the previous datastore which was EXT partition - and created a new datastore with XFS instead - maybe using XFS is the issue?

I confirm seeing same issue. My PBS instance is running under ESXi and the hypervisor is reporting extremely high CPU usage now since upgrade to 4. Never saw this under 3.4.
