Hi,
I know from VMware vSphere three functionalities
I know from VMware vSphere three functionalities
- Admission Control Policy
- Takes care of redundancy (e.g. one host can fail and all VMs can still run and/or be restarted on the remaining resources)
- New VMs cannot be started or deployed if the resource is full
- High Availability
- I know there is something like High Availability in Proxmox but can Proxmox after a crash of one host also automatically restart the VMs on the remaining hosts?
- Distributed Resource Manager
- This functionality automatically distribute the VMs to the hosts so that e.g. all cpu-bound VMs hang around on one host
