Hello,
I want to migrate my current proxmox (1 minipc with 1 sata nvme and 1 sata ssd) to a new host.
From work I got an old PC with enough space for a lot of disks.
Currently I can fill the PC up with 1 M.2 NVME, 1 Sata SSD and 3 Sata HDDs.
The mainboard has 6 Sata Ports.
I want to add a PCIe-card x16 with 4 M.2 NVME-Ports. There should go up to 4 additional M.2 NVME-storages.
I also want to add 2 Sata SSDs.
All disks are consomer disk.

I don't know how to configure proxmox with such a huge amount of disks.
I think I should install Proxmox on the first M.2 NVME but how to go further?

Thanks for your help.

You can wipe the disks in the GUI under node > Disks and create a storage woith them in the sub-sections of that same menu. I like to use ZFS but see docs what suits you best. I'd install it on the smallest SSD(s). If you use a boot mirror I recommend ZFS here too.
