Hello,

these four log lines repeat every 10 seconds, which is a bit annoying, though obviously harmless.

Jul 20 17:50:49 pbs proxmox-backup-proxy[12366]: find_mounted_device failed - failed to parse mount info line: [49, 53, 54, 56, 32, 49, 53, 54, 55, 32, 48, 58, 49, 50, 54, 32, 47, 32, 47, 100, 101, 118, 32, 114, 119, 44, 114, 101, 108, 97, 116, 105, 109, 101, 32, 45, 32, 116, 109, 112, 102, 115, 32, 110, 111, 110, 101, 32, 114, 119, 44, 115, 105, 122, 101, 61, 52, 57, 50, 107, 44, 109, 111, 100, 101, 61, 55, 53, 53, 44, 117, 105, 100, 61, 49, 48, 48, 48, 48, 48, 44, 103, 105, 100, 61, 49, 48, 48, 48, 48, 48] Jul 20 17:50:49 pbs proxmox-backup-proxy[12366]: error: incomplete mountinfo line Jul 20 17:50:49 pbs proxmox-backup-proxy[12366]: find_mounted_device failed - failed to parse mount info line: [49, 53, 54, 56, 32, 49, 53, 54, 55, 32, 48, 58, 49, 50, 54, 32, 47, 32, 47, 100, 101, 118, 32, 114, 119, 44, 114, 101, 108, 97, 116, 105, 109, 101, 32, 45, 32, 116, 109, 112, 102, 115, 32, 110, 111, 110, 101, 32, 114, 119, 44, 115, 105, 122, 101, 61, 52, 57, 50, 107, 44, 109, 111, 100, 101, 61, 55, 53, 53, 44, 117, 105, 100, 61, 49, 48, 48, 48, 48, 48, 44, 103, 105, 100, 61, 49, 48, 48, 48, 48, 48] Jul 20 17:50:49 pbs proxmox-backup-proxy[12366]: error: incomplete mountinfo line

This seems to be related to the /proc/12366/mountinfo entry 1568 1567, with a bit of context:
Code:
1567 1507 0:123 / / rw master:405 - zfs tank/compressed/subvol-113-disk-0 rw,xattr,posixacl
1568 1567 0:126 / /dev rw,relatime - tmpfs none rw,size=492k,mode=755,uid=100000,gid=100000
1569 1567 0:125 / /proc rw,nosuid,nodev,noexec,relatime - proc proc rw

Environment: proxmox-backup-server 0.8.6-1 on debian 10.4, running as a proxmox-container (pve-manager 6.2-10) on debian 10.4, every package updated today, though it still runs unter 5.4.34-1-pve (can't reboot that machine right now).

Regards, Uwe

same here, running on a Laptop in conjunction with PVE.
PVE: 6.2--1
PBS: 0.8.9-1
Kernel: 5.4.44-2-pve

The error did also appear, running on a priv/unpriv LXC (on another, dedi Host), but does only not appear when PBS runs in a KVM (on that dedi)

Servus,
günter

proxmox-backup-server >= 0.8.10-1 contains the fix, currently in internal testing

thx @fabian, that did the job.
while talking about spamming the log – slightly OT: is there a way (planed) to dim the messages, which show up every 10 sec:
proxmox-backup-api[1807]: successful auth for user 'backup@pbs'
