File level restore granularity

Hi there
Pretty new to this forum, so I hope I'll follow all the policies... if not, please let me know.

I am looking for a way to back up Proxmox VMs with the ability to restore at a file level granularity without restoring the whole VM somewhere and dig into it.

Anything in particular I should know?

Hi,

vma do not support this. But you can use zfs and zfs-zsync for this.

You should look into using kpartx.
