Good day
I've stumbled on FAIme https://fai-project.org/FAIme/ which creates a "nice" ISO installer that mostly just work... except for the requirement/need of DHCP (not an option at present, unless you could advise a ISC KEA option/replacement with cost effective (for me) static host API database) and that the cloud-init seems to not be able to populate the /etc/resolv.conf of the BullsEye installed guest
The templates and cloudimages aren't such great solutions, as I'm either needing to have a template on each PVE host, or migrate it to the PVE host I need the VM on, or have to drop to the shell to do the qemu-img transfer(s)
Anybody else have a FAI setup they could share that uses cloud-init and doesn't use/need DHCP?
Any other automated ISO installations I've missed for debian that will work without DHCP but with cloud-init?
