Hello,
Since it's new year i want to expand my homelab, currently RPI4. Not so long ago i bought 3x HP Elitedesk 800 g6 mini (i5 10500, 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD in each). I checked if they work and since then they've been collecting dust.
I want to build small proxmox cluster and i cannot decide what disks put into them. There are 2x nvme ports and 1x 2.5 sata (i have drive caddy).
There will be few vms, HA database (postgres or mysql), syncthing for syncing notes, at least two ftp servers or nextcloud instead of them, dns, dhcp, monitoring tools (prometheus for now, in the future may be zabbix). Also i want to play around ci/cd, so there will be gitea and runner.
And i wonder should i go for 2x nvme for os/iso/templates and 2.5 for vms or 2.5 for os and 2x nvme for vms. Most importantly, what ssds should i buy, consumer grade or maybe used enterprise ssds?
