PBS is a very powerful backup solution, its pretty quick, its good, its de dupe is excellent. From all the solutions out there, it feels like the best/seamless solution out there.
I would love for the client software to be expanded onto more Platforms and OSs. My usecase would be to backup configs of Raspis and a couple ARM Servers at work.
Further more explicit support for Ubuntu would also be amazing to see.
I get its meant just for PVE which is debian and x86. But I feel like it is such an amazing Product that can and should be marketed on its own. Even tho its a lot of support work.
In a first step I don't see client/personal backups as sensible (to many OSs and devices), but expanded support for server OSs.

there are no official ARM builds at the moment, but it should be possible to build one yourself if you want.

Since there are currently no deb-src available one would need to build these from source from your git.proxmox.com repo?
This is not exactly easy or user friendly.
Would it be possible to compile it for arm at the same time you build the static client and publish this aswell? So making it part of the same workflow? Or is this vastly more work to do on your end?
