Email best practice - VM or Host?

Hello,

I have proxmox 3 installed on a server with about 10 VMs. So far i've installed postfix on all of the VMs. Wouldn't it be better to install postfix only on the host and have the VMs send email via the host?
Or is it better to create on VM with postfix running and all the other VM use it to send emails?

If so, how can I set that up?

Hi,

postfix is installed on the host in the standard installation for notification.
