[SOLVED] Does backup server handle esx vms?

The reason I'm asking is because I was sure I came across a post several months ago that said the backup server could also backup vms on esx hosts.
I recently started looking for that but cannot find it anywhere now so I assume no but I thought I should ask here.
 
There is no official way (currently) and i did not see any posts/info from any third party that would do this. Maybe there was something tangential related to esx in some post?
 
I don't think it was in these forums. I seem to recall it was someone's howto that I found. Like I said, it's vague however since it was quite some time back.

You mention no official way but does that imply that there might be a way? If so, then maybe I did come across that article and need to search some more :).

no i meant that there is no plugin/tool from us...

theoretically someone could have built such a thing (since the api of pbs is documented) but i don't know of one...
