Disk Totals Incorrect?

Hey all,

Action Taken:

- Cluster Created
- 2x VM's Migrated To New Host

Issue:

- Disk storage totals don't seem to add up (pretty sure I'm just reading this incorrectly?)

Host disk is 240 GB so this thing should be over capacity?

Hi,

qcow2 files are thin-provisioned (see our admin guide on Thin Provisioning), meaning they will only take up the space that is actually used/written to by the guest. The overview shows the full size, not the currently allocated.

Of course, this can lead to problems later on, if you actually fill up the disk, so (disk) over-provisioning should only be done very carefully.

This would make sense as the guests are currently using a total of 174 GB on their disks.

I'll look to fix this.
