disclaimer exclusion for some adresses

Hi @ all!
We're using Proxmox since over a year, never had any problems.
So everything is great ;-)

Now we want to add a disclaimer.

But we've a adress for sending newsletters, in the newsletter there's another disclaimer so we want to exclude this sender adress.

Is it possible to excluse one (ore more) sender in the rules config?

Thx!

hi,
you cannot exclude, but you can go the different way - making a WHO object including all user for a standard disclaimer. If you have LDAP (and MS active dir), you can use existing LDAP group for WHO objects (From).

From:Users with Disclaimer-Standard (or LDAP Group)
To:Anybody
When:
Always
What:Anything
Action:Disclaimer-Standard

hi,
other solution: with 2 rules (outgoing)

From: the newsletter email address
To: Anybody
When:
Always
What:Anything
Action:accept

this rules accepts the outgoing newsletters with no disclaimer. as accept is a final action, no further rules are applied. for other email senders just use the second rule:

From: Anybody
To: Anybody
When:
Always
What:Anything
Action: Disclaimer

:p
thanks, thats exactly what we need.
normaly we add a disclaimer.
but we send also mails via SMS to mobilephones and don´t want to add some disclaimers there.

so, this are our rules:

Name: "No_Disclaimer_Rule"
Priority: 88
Direction: Out
From: Anybody
To: No_Disclaimer_Receiver (SMS-Maildomain or SMS-Gatewayaddress)
When:Always
What:Anything
Action:accept

Name: "Disclaimer_Rule"
Priority: 86
Direction: Out
From: Anybody
To: Anybody
When:Always
What:Anything
Action: Disclaimer
