Hi i would like to attach my raid controller to my vm with a pci passtrough.
I followed the instructions on the pci passtrough page.
My processor doesnt support ACS. I have a intel core i7-2600.
But from what i understood it should still be working.
This is what i added to vmid.conf:
Code:
machine: q35
hostpci0: 01:00.0,pcie=1
This is the output of lspci
Code:

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Have you disabled whatever driver Linux loads for the PERC? You can check this with lspci -k 01:00.0

The tricky part is making sure that you're not disabling a driver that is needed elsewhere, like for your primary SATA controller for example. You might be able to unload the driver for the PERC specifically using modprobe -r modulename. If you can, you could just add that unload command as an @reboot in cron.

That's about the best I have for PCI passthrough issues.

Hi,

please check and send the output of the iommu groups to verify a passthrough is possible.

Code:
find /sys/kernel/iommu_groups/ -type l
