Cloud or Remote Backup

Hi,

Currently we are using NSF storage for Backup in the same Datacenter. We would like to back our all Proxmox VMs to different Datacenter.

Are there any replication software available like VMware vSphere Replication?

What you guys are using and what is your suggestion?

Any advice and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I use FreeNAS as my storage system. With FreeNAS I can setup schedule snapshot syncing to another FreeNAS server.

This allows me to keep a back up off site. Because we are syncing the snapshots, we're only syncing the Deltas between the snapshots. So rather than having to ship many Tb for each backup, we really only ship a few Gigabytes.

This way I can run many more snapshots and syncs. In fact we run it each hour.

What NAS server are you using? it what options you can do really depends on what you already have..

We are not using any NAS in our Primary Datacenter. We are using Proxmox with CEPH Storage Cluster total 3 servers in the cluster.
Remote location we have Buffalo 4TB TeraStation.
How do you sync snapshot?
Are you using cron job with rsync?
