Hello everybody!
We have Proxmox on five nodes in production Environment. The Hosts/Nodes have the same IP Adresses as the Monitors. The nodes has two ethernet ports, but at the moment only one per node is in use and connected.
Is it possible to give the ceph Storage/Monitors another IP Adress afterwards? I know that it´s not so easy to change only the IP adresses in the ceph.conf or something else.. that crashes the ceph pool and all of the data inside it. I have done this in the past..
Or is it better to configure a new Host/Ceph Storage with seperate IP Adresses (e.g. 192.168.10.X for the nodes and 10.10.10.X for the Monitors) and restore the VM backups?
Best regards,
Roman
