Can Proxmox be run as a LiveDVD or LiveCD? Is there any way to do this?

I have a 16GB platform. I would like Proxmox to run in LiveCD mode (loaded in memory) and to use my external drives for the partitions that my Virtual Machines will be using to support each's needs.

Does anyone in Proxmox land know anything about running a LiveCD where the local HDD is not disturbed or destroyed?
