The Microsoft outage yesterday triggered a bounce storm when PMG is between M365 and the outside. The downstream effect of this is services like Amazon SES put IPs emitting bounces on their global suppression list. It is not clear how long an IP remains on that list, but Amazon documentation says 14 days maximum and the actual number is logarithmically calculated by number of bounce messages received. That global list can only be locally overridden by having each sender who uses SES add an override to their own account. That's not ideal.
What is the best way via Proxmox Mail Gateway's own settings to either temporarily suppress repeated bounces? Or perhaps a better configuration to not relay bounces to the outside world in the first place?
