Backup of VM faided unable to rename

Hello, i been having problems trying to make backups of two vms, is anyone here familiar with this error?

the same error happens in both the VMs

compression type LZO, but it happens with the other compression types too

most likely points to a broken storage/disk, i'd check the journal/syslog/dmesg
