Aus bestehender Installation ein bootfähiges ISO-Image erstellen

Ich musste jetzt meinen Proxmox-Server neu aufsetzen und habe das genutzt, direkt die Version 7.1 zu installieren.
Da so ein Neuaufsetzen doch einiges an Arbeit mit sich bringt, habe ich die Idee, mir jetzt von der noch frischen Installation ein ISO-Image zu ziehen und dies bootfähig auf einen USB-Stick zu ziehen. So müsste ich im Fall der Fälle nur den Stick einstecken, von USB booten und das Image installieren.

Meine Frage? Geht so etwas überhaupt? Und wenn ja, wie?

Warum nicht einfach alles fertig einrichten und danach mit Clonezilla oder proxmox-backup-client ein Blocklevel Backup deiner Systemdisk machen und als Image speichern, was du dann später einfach auf eine disk zurückspielen könntest, falls du mal wieder ein PVE aufsetzen musst?
 
Besten Dank. Ich werde mich mal an Clonezilla rantasten und schauen, was ich hinbekomme.
