This is the only Android App available to 'somewhat' manage Proxmox VE.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.quadrata.android.quad_prox_mob&hl=en

I have been using this App for about a year now. Anybody else using this App? I think it got very good potential. An android app such as this is a great addition for those of us who manages several Proxmox environment. I tried to contact the developers but no response. Does Proxmox have any plan to do something like this. Not necessarily FREE version. Android apps are very cheap. I am sure there will be many Proxmox managers who will be more than willing to purchase an app like this one. Currently this app lacks some basic features such as sorting of VMs/Nodes. But it is great to view overall Proxmox cluster, start/stop VMs, migrate etc all through Android smartphone or tablet.

I did some of the code (migration and home widget) but it seems to me that the original developer(s) has abandoned the project so any further development will need to start by forking the project on github.

I recently added support for server generated pages (I called that page formaters). For example:

https://your-server:8006/api2/html

That uses bootstrap and generate very simply layout to browse the API.

I guess it would be possible to write a simple web based app using such code.

I am not sure if this app is web based as my programming knowledge is blank. But a fully functional App may bring commercial value to Proxmox or whoever wants to start the project. Have no clue what is involved in developing Android/iOS App. Dont know if it is even worth it.
Anyone want to collaborate?

The app you refer to is not web based but a native Android app.

What I would think should be put on top of the wish list is the ability to connect to several clusters. In its present state it can only connect to one cluster.
Another thing worth considering would be to implement native OpenVPN in the app.

Glad to know it is native Android app!

My thought was exactly!! Would be awesome to check on multiple clusters from multiple location with a single app.

OpenVPN to securely connect to VM consoles or manage clusters securrely?

OpenVPN to secure manage clusters. When OpenVPN is enabled you automatically get secure connections to VM consoles through the apps built-in VNC console since it will automatically use the VPN tunnel.

Great!!

So when are we going to start redeveloping it? LOL

Also a combination of Quadprox + Opaque would be great for desktop VDI (Spice).Currently I am using Chrome + Opaque on my tablet and the Spice experience is great!
