I performed a standard update on my 7.4 proxmox server to get the latest deb11 patches.
I did not see any errors during the upgrade, but after rebooting the box for the new kernel, I got this error:
Booting `Proxmox VE GNU/Linux`
Loading Linux 5.15.131-2-pve...
error: file `vmlinuz-5.15.131-2-pve' not found
Loading initial ramdisk...
error: you need to load the kernel first
From the boot screen I was able to select and boot using the previous kernel (5.15.131-1-pve), even though the new kernel showed up in the list along with the older kernels.
Not sure why it couldn't "find" it.
* apt update does not show anything needing to be installed.
* pveversion shows: pve-manager/7.4-17/513c62be (running kernel: 5.15.126-1-pve)
* All containers started up fine.
How would I fix this problem?
