3.10 Kernel for Proxmox

oops sorry of course ;-) was thinking about 3.1.1...
what new features does 3.11 have in comparison to 3.2

For one thing 3.11 is the newest Linux kernel tagged LTS and will be the kernel used in the coming RHEL 7 which will also be the kernel used in proxmox when RHEL 7 is released.

ok sounds good. i will also install 3.11 on our new testserver next week, i think it will be some time until proxmox will have the new kernel....(when rhel7 is released one day..)

The wiki page I linked above says different (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linux_kernel#Maintenance) i.e. that the 3.10 is a LTS, while 3.11 is EOL and will die ... is already died in November 2013.
Where can your info be confirmed about RH 7's kernel?

In debian the 3.10 kernel has died while the 3.11 kernel is alive and maintained so maybe the wiki is wrong?
