I run PVE 7.4-3 and use LXC containers.
All containers show the systemd-service sys-kernel-config.mount as failed. They show no problems in practice, so I wonder if I should just diable this service.
Any thoughts ?

Hello - we have a number of standalone PVE and also some clusters - all running various different versions of PVE 7
would be 2 examples.

My PHP-FPM services are constantly crashing in my Containers. The PHP and syslogs aren't giving much insight, so I'm looking to enable core dumps inside the container itself. The Enable Core Dump systemd instructions on the wiki work fine for the host, but I need to produce and grab the core...
I've moved my SR-IOV start-up script out of a systemd unit and into a shell script invoked by a systemd unit after multi-user.target is reached. I did this as, at least on the 5.19 kernel, pve-guests.service seems to reset my NIC, or at least does something that causes SR-IOV to be...
When I backup my containers and vms, I see the following warning message

i have some LXC debian 8 container on a Proxmox 6 cluster.. now i'm planning an upgrade to proxmox7,

I'm a bit of a newbie to Proxmox, so please be patient. I'm trying to install an Ubuntu VM, but after handing on a black screen with a blinking cursor for 5 minutes, I have this error.

So I've been struggling with this for a few hours and everything I've found online leads to huge arguments about how systemd (back in 2016?) changed a default to kill all user processes on logout. Well that sounds ok, but it kills things like screen. screen has been used for many many years...

I have a question about the current available LXC container template for Gentoo.
The container is based on the 'init.d' system where I rather want to use 'systemd', also is the container slightly outdated (march-2020).
Is there a build script or method to build a 'fresh' gentoo LXC...
I met a requirement to pin some container to certain CPU cores forever. This comes from the specific software we installed into the container and its licensing model. It checks CPUs and if it finds any dissimilarity with license file, it refuses to use that license file.
My machine has...

Posting this for awareness, maybe it will help someone else with the same problem.
I converted a Debian 10 VmWare machine to a container in Proxmox without any trouble. I then tried to upgrade the container to Debian 11, but the operation froze when trying to upgrade systemd.
Yesterday I upgraded from 6.4-1 to 7.0-2, and the host boots fine.
Before starting all vm's and ct's I just started 1 ct and 1 vm, they work fine. Zpools report no issues.
In the log however I found multiple messages like these, they were never in the logs in pve 6.x or 5.x, so it started...
