The lxc folder is also in /etc not in /pve

I am facing a similar problem however I have mounted the old proxmox disk root file but the pve folder is empty. Also do I have to overwrite the new lxc directory with the old one?

Is it possible to resize a proxmox disk to make it smaller? I only see the option to increase the size. It is a windows installation.

Is it possible to set up a cache to an ssd from proxmox? How do the default cache settings work and where is the cache stored?

Does it make any difference to the performance of the vm?

I have found if when I set up the vm if I select the os to other it works fine.

I have tried any number of configuration options in proxmox and reset the bios and disabled cstates on the host but it just won't install. Every time the installer boots it flashes a bluescreen with a fairly random error. one of the most common of which is system thread exception not handled...

Logging in as desktop works but the VM doesn't show up in the user account.

I can create a user and assign them to a VM with custom permissions but when you try to login with that account the VM doesn't show up and there is an error.

If it try making an extra user account and assigning it to VM it comes up with permission check failed sys.audit 403?

I fixed it by setting it to use the same Mac address as hetzner had provided.

The host can access the internet fine

I also cannot get it to work either with a dedicated IP or sharing the hosts.

I have imputed all the IP and DNS settings correct.

It just won't join the network.

I have set it up in iptables, linked the vm to use it and entered the network config into the vm but it still has no network?
