Installing with Raid10 gets the same blinking cursor on boot can't find grub (and can't boot from USB in recovery), installing with Raidz-1 boots into Grub Recovery directly.

Are you trying to connect using https? What port are you connecting to? what does the output of "netstat -apn | grep 8006" (which if I remember correctly is the default port) show? It should return "pveproxy" running on that port.
