Multiple Physical Drives in VM Guest

Thanks for the response. The hard drive is actually /dev/sdb. It has two partitions. Each partition has a UUID. To the best of my knowledge, there is no way to get the actual UUID of /dev/sdb. I had to get the UUID of each partition Ex: sdb1 and sdb2. The odd thing is, in windows disk...

    Windows Update Kills SATA

Hi Tom! Thanks for the reply. I actually ended up redoing my Proxmox and that fixed the problem. So not sure what the cause was. But do have a question... You recommended I use Virtio for my drives? When I select that and start a Windows 2012 install, it can't find my drives. I assume it...

    Proxmox 2.1-12 Read/Write issues to C-Drive

Hi. I am trying to create a DOS VM in Proxmox. When I boot off a bootable CD for DOS that I made, it boots fine. I go to FDISK the C-Drive and this works. I then reboot the machine and boot off CD again. I then try to format the C-Drive. When doing this, I get read/write failures...

    IE Console Window

I'm sorry, so are we saying that it's fixed? Or are we saying that since IE isn't very common, that it probably won't get fixed? I did switch to Googl Chrome for now, and all seems to be working wonderfully :)

image '/cdrom' does not exists (500)

I can't select "Use physical CD/DVD Drive" to install operating system as it says image /cdrom doesn't exist. Whatever that means. Can't upload ISO's to a custom folder because they don't upload.
