That's true, but for example to build a KVM guest that hosts a massive number of container with only an ftp daemon and a syslogger+fail2ban
Edit: Is not interesting the performance, but the scalability and the security
Hi!
I'm heard in past that was possible to utilize xen domU with openvz installed.
I'm interested for testing to build KVM guest with openvz container. There is some contaddiction or problem? I'snt a problem if the performance lose the 3 o 5% of the total.

Did yuo have reproduced the problem? My trouble is to mantain the flexybility of vzdump, the nfs share is the best form to have a container for repository and the other container for clients...
Did you suggest some alternative?

hi guys!
I will share this two articles on the LXC project. I think that will be the natural successor of OpenVZ (no kernel patch!!! starting from the 2.6.28 kernel)

hi!
You can reproduce the problem with this configuration:
Enable the nfs module in the host, with "modprobe nfs"
- enable the nfs in two openvz container with:
- vzctl set 101 --features "nfs:on" --save
- vzctl set 102 --features "nfs:on" --save
On the server install unfs3 and export a...

And another questions, is possible to utilize a small web server like nginx instead of apache? Is very Stable and low resource consumer.
