How increase loop device in host

hi al all!

I have that problem, in the kernel 2.6.32 in /dev there are only 8 loop devices... so i need much more devices, because I've to mount iso images with important data for my client, so how can I increase the loop numbers? I've to increase in the kernel startup command line in grub for example?

But in that release of the pve kernel the loop module didn't exist, so i've to set the parameter to the grub line... so nasty because I've to reboot the system
