Thanks. This could be a possible explanation. While i have my Qubes OS on real HW, i just wanted to make a virtual one just for testing some stuff. It is more convenient if i make any mistake i just roll back to my snapshot, then reinstall it again.
Could someone manage to make Qubes OS work under Proxmox? Is there any special settings for it? Like kernel, scsi controller or something else?
This is how i set it up:
Memory: 8GB
Processors: 4(2 sockets, 2 cores) [host]
BIOS: Default (SeaBIOS)
Display: SPICE (qxl)
Machine: Default (i440fx)...
It has been resolved. @czechsys was right, the path on the nfs server was wrong. I've uploaded an ISO to the server and i've observed the created path.
Thanks!
1. If you mean NFS Permission on the synology, than yes it is right. If not, what do you mean?
2. How can i check the ISO folder path from PVE? And what do you mean "real path"?
Hello!
I have a synology NAS, and i'd like to use it as a NFS storage for my ISO files. Because there was some issue with NFS i didn't use it. Now i tried NFS again and fortunately it is working again. When i used NFS on a NFS server this was where the ISO file was stored:
I've created a shared...
Hello!
Same here. Added NFS share and the status is unknown.
cat /etc/pve/storage.cfg
dir: local
path /var/lib/vz
content iso,backup,vztmpl
zfspool: local-zfs
pool rpool/data
content images,rootdir
sparse 1
zfspool: VMs
pool r10-1TB/VMs
content rootdir,images
mountpoint /r10-1TB/VMs

Thanks!
Now it works perfectly fine! And how should i make it to be the default settings? Is there any config file where i can edit this? I tried to dig into postfix a bit, but everywhere i just read that /etc/postfix/main.cf is the one to edit, but i didn't find any useful option.
Thanks! Now the email arrives, but there is some strange things i don't understand:
This is how a mail looks like when i receive it:
From: Mail Delivery System <MAILER-DAEMON@pve.local.lan>
Subject: Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender
To: root@pve.local.lan
This is the mail system at host...
Hello!
I'd like to configure postfiy to send emails from proxmox and i'm looking for some help. I'd like to use posteo as smtp server if it is possible...
Here is what i did to make it work:
1. Installed libsasl2-modules
apt-get install libsasl2-modules
2. Specified account details:

Hello!
I'm just playing around with VMs with OVMF. If i have attached to the VM 2 CD/DVD Drives, how can i tell which drive is which in OVMF menu >> Boot Manager? In the proxmox gui i can't see any information about it, only this: ide0, ide2, but under the Boot Manager menu i can only see...
No other problems. Just a bit of OCD to make an install without any error :). It's just a virtualized environment anyway, at least I'm practicing for a live installation.
Thanks for the answer!
I was so concentrated to make a working encrypted zfs raid10 dataset, I've completly forget to upgrade my repositories :).
I've checked them, seems everything good:
root@pvetest:~# zfs get mounted,mountpoint VMs/encrypted_data

Hello!
I didn't want to create a new topic, hope this is a good place for my question.
I'm trying to setup an encrypted zfs dataset. I'm following the wiki, and have some questions:
1. I've created a zfs raid10 pool: link1
2. I've checked the encryption feature of the pool, and created the...
I see. You're trying to use your proxmox as server, or at least as a standalone client. Maybe try out this method: [link], following the steps for pve1. My nut server is under pfsense. It was very easy to setup. Unfortunately i can't help to set up your proxmox as nut server, but i think the...
Hello!
I've followed the tutorial on the forum to install proxmox. Everything works just fine, except one thing. I'd like to make snapshots, but if i choose the LVM what i've created (Point 7 in the installation steps), i can't change the image format, there is only RAW image format, and i...
Hi!
I'm just trying to setup nut as client on proxmox as well. I think there was a success with my debian based PC. On the PC i had to reboot the machine to load the nut-client.service. Maybe try out these: "systemctl enable nut-client.service", "service nut-client start", and check the status...
