I am not sure what will be the relevance of the kernel driver for the PCIe passthrough? I have all my passed devices added to the ignore list as recommended by the passthrough guide. Anyway for me GTX1660 Supper and Quadro A4000 worked without changes after the 8.1 upgrade.

I ran the command with multiple pools at once. Not sure if this had an impact.

Unfortunately your workaround didn't work for me. After executing the oneliner nothing changes. I opened bug report I hope this get the attention this issue deserves. I know zfs 2.2 has other more significant issues but this one seems like a significant regression too.

At least for me the biggest benefit of S3 will be achieve the 1 in 3/2/1 backup strategy. If I can plug an S3 bucket to an PBS i can have automatic remote replication without bothering of hosting remote PBS.

I need to disable the nested virtualization for virtualized pfSense as there is some bug in freeBSD and the VM hangs. If I assign kvm64 CPU the VM boots but I am loosing the AES-NI and other acceleration instructions. Any idea how to disable the nested virtualization per VM?

Yah it was really the disk failing. I swapped the disks and the backup works OK.
