Its need for LXC as containers use the proxmox level devices directly when they're shared, it's NOT needed in a vm as you pass the IOMMU through, the driver will need to be managed on the VM host then as that is where the deviced will be managed to a container in the VM or the VM itself.

Just to clarify, if you want to run it on LXC you'll need local driver support. If you want to use a VM you simply pass the device through. you DO NOT need to build and compile the driver on the proxmox host itself.

Yeah. The BIOS is updated. I have 3 options PEG, iGPU and Auto. Ive tried all the combinations and it only loads one even with both plugged in. It's a little frustrating. IOMMU is supported. Dummy plug trick doesn't work unfortunately.

Thanks, The VMs run on U2 NVMe drives. These are just added for random tasks. Ill keep experimenting but this is my main too so its a little rough.
