Hi I added a new disk, created the logical volume and converted to thin. I can see the storage device on the gui, and I can scan for the thin volume on the command line but I cannot see the lvm-thin device when I try to create a new vm. I did add it to /etc/pve/storage.cfg manually...

I tried boot repair disk and it is saying that I'm running in legacy mode and must switch to EFI, how do I do this in proxmox?

Also there is a warning on the end of clonezilla, "Target disk sda does not exist in the image saved from disk(s) "sdb". What does that mean?

I mean run something remotely if I don' have access to the console. Thanks!

I'll try that when I get home, I can't run clonezilla remotely unfortunately. Could I try a live system? Any other things to try?

I'm attempting to clone a ubuntu host 14.04 server to a vm. I've tried this numerous times and I can't get the vm to boot. Proxmox version 5.2-12 Clonezilla source full disk to sama (verified) Clonezilla on proxmox vm *Tried changing device type from virtio to IDE I just get a hanging...

Is that recommended for performance issues? I did the same with the network drivers just now, booted to e1000, downloaded the virt drivers then booted back with virt network.

EDIT: For anyone following you need to detach the disk, edit it, then reattach. Windows is booting now.
