    Scheduled backups

Yeah, this way it works. I guess it should be fixed in the wiki. Now I have 10gb local and the old 100gb partition is missing. Now, how do I remove this 100gb partition and add this space to local-lvm?

    lvcreate -n vz -V 10G pve/data mkfs.ext4 /dev/pve/vz after that I added "echo '/dev/pve/vz /var/lib/vz ext4 defaults 0 2' >> /etc/fstab" into fstab. This is the result:

    Scheduled backups

I tried to create a lv on a test machine. I typed the exact same commands and after that I added the line for automounting in /etc/fstab. After rebooting proxmox goes into emergency mode and it won't boot. I have to remove the line from fstab in order to get it working again. I tried renaming vz...

Yep, it failed on the first backup - no space. How do I increase this 100gb partition?

    Scheduled backups

Currently I have Proxmox 4.4 with 3x 1TB hard drives installed - 1 for proxmox and the other two are used as LVM and each have one ~120GB VM on them. I want to make a scheduled backup of these two VM's which will execute once a week and I'm looking for some information. I've created a Backup...

Proxmox 4.4, not enough space on local

Thank you, but why do I have to do all this? On 3.4 there was one partition for everything and there was no need for commands. Now I won't even be able to make backups of these machines, since by default I have only 100gb for all my iso's, templates and backups and that's insane.

Proxmox 4.4, not enough space on local

I can't create anything in local-lvm, it's all grayed out. In datacenter I can add an LVM or LVM-Thin, but their content can't be backups

Proxmox 4.4, not enough space on local

I'm trying to upgrade my server from 3.4 to 4.4, I created backups of my VM's but there is not enough space to upload them to the new machine. I have backups that are 150gb+ in size but the local content of 4.4 is only 100gb in size. I have plenty of space in local-lvm, but I can't upload...

    pci passthrough causes errors

Hello I'm running proxmox 3.4-6/102d4547 for about a year and so far I'm pretty satisfied. A few days ago I created a new virtual machine, to be used as an Ubuntu 16.04 x64 LTSP server. The hardest part about this is the pci passthrough. Since the ltsp server usually uses 2 NIC's, one for the...

Import vm in new Proxmox install

I recently switched to Proxmox, so I'm a complete beginner and for now everything works great. I have everything I need, but I'm looking for one more thing. I'm afraid that there might be a power failure and Proxmox might stop working. Should I be afraid or Proxmox can survive things like that...
