Hi Martin,I have just discovered a weird thing with the forum and the Chromium browser. When accessing the forum through http the editor don't work - the page loads forever when trying to display the editor. If I however use https the editor works as expected. Newlines are still not working though, every newline is filtered by the editor which as a result means that the entered text will be presented to others as one long line!Is this a known bug?PS. this is only true for the Chromium browser any other browser works as expected.

I work with http on win7, most time with google chrome. no problem here.

what OS/browser do you use?

Yes, and I asked what OS do you use so I can try it here.

Debian (sid)
I am testing with Debian Testing (Jessie) Chromium 33 and yes, its also not working. But with Ubuntu 14.04 and the Chromium 34 from there, no issues. For a workaround, use iceweasel on your sid box and test again as soon as the debian maintainer uploaded a more recent version. I do not see any way to improve this here.

I use Chromium 34 on Sid:
dpkg -s chromium
Package: chromium
Status: install ok installed
Priority: optional
Section: web
Installed-Size: 132774
Maintainer: Debian Chromium Maintainers <pkg-chromium-maint@lists.alioth.debian.org>
Architecture: amd64
Source: chromium-browser
Version: 34.0.1847.116-2

What is different on Ubuntu 14.04 Chromium 34 compared to Debian Sid Chromium 34?

No idea. And I doubt that the forum software vendor want to debug this on Debian Sid.

Tried from another clean Debian Sid installation. Doesn't work.

One thing though, the chromium package, even though exactly the same version, is 4 MB bigger on Ubuntu compared to the package on Debian. Apparently either Ubuntu has added something or Debian has removed something!!!
