GPU Passthrough TASK ERROR: start failed: QEMU exited with code 1

Hi all, I've been trying to pass through a GT 1030 as a display out for one of my Windows 11 VMs, but no matter what I do, it always returns the same error log.


error writing '1' to '/sys/bus/pci/devices/0000:01:00.0/reset': Inappropriate ioctl for device

failed to reset PCI device '0000:01:00.0', but trying to continue as not all devices need a reset

swtpm_setup: Not overwriting existing state file.

stopping swtpm instance (pid 1562) due to QEMU startup error

TASK ERROR: start failed: QEMU exited with code 1


Some guidance on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

This thread is half a year old. Do you really expect a new and helpful reply after posting that?

Perhaps you can post details about your setup, your goal, which documentation/tutorial you followed, what you expected to happen and what happened instead...

Most of the users here (this is a community forum!) do not have the same hardware which you have. The more details you post the higher the chance for a helpful answer!
