disabling these things may impact abillity to use msstore, windows hello, microsoft accounts, AAD join, etc - bsically anything that uses a protected path.... if one doesn't use those things, great, but just know 'making windows lighter' isn't always a good thing* I did not try this, but you should be able to go to Windows features and uncheck
- Microsoft Defender Application Guard
- Virtual machine Platform
- Windows Hypervisor Platform

I really don't like bumping my own comments, but does anyone have any experience with PCIe passthrough without a host-mode CPU?Does switching away from host impact using PCIe passthrough inside the VM at all?
It works and I have not noticed much difference when using a CPU type similar to the host instead of using host. I don't know what else to tell you, sorry.Does switching away from host impact using PCIe passthrough inside the VM at all?
