man corosync.conf
Would you be so kind to elaborate on what kind of problems might occur.Code:man corosync.conf
But as I said, the defaults of one vote per node and needing more than 50% of the votes for quorum are good and should not be tampered with. Experience shows, that this will sooner or later cause some problems down the line if the cluster does not behave as expected.
Do I understad you correctly that you haveI am also having trouble with this situation and would like to understand this better. I have a home / small office scenario where I run 4 Proxmox servers. 2 of the 4 servers are usually off and 1 of those that is on needs to be really flexible.
The main thing I'm looking to achieve with a cluster is primarily twofold:
1) single login/interface management
2) migrate smaller experiment vms from one machine to another.
I'm not really looking for high availability since my primary uses of these systems are hardware locked.
I found an article here that seems to perhaps provide a way to work as not intended:
Achieving Quorum in a Two Node Proxmox Cluster
But is this really the way to do it?
I too am wondering about "what kind of problems might occur" since it seems that this is the mantra, but for some of us we see no other way......
