Hi all,

Proxmox VE 1.0 will be launched in October 2008 including multilingual support for the web GUI.

We are looking for native speakers doing reviews and translations.

Already done:
  • English (default)
  • German
  • Italian
  • Hungarian
  • Dutch
  • Romanian
  • French
Todo:

  • Spanish (needs review, translator needed)
  • Portuguese (work in progress)
  • Japanese (needs review, translator needed)
  • Russian (work in progress)
  • You miss something - just tell it
The translations can be done by using www.poedit.net, an easy to use editor (see the attached screenshot displaying the translation to German) or any other editor you prefer, e.g. Emacs.

There is NO programming knowledge necessary to translate.

If you want to translate, just contact Martin directly (martin@proxmox.com). As we got a very tight schedule, all translation for 1.0 has to be finished by the end of this week (28.9.2008).

I will update this posting if the status of a translation changed, so you will see the progress directly in this thread.
