how about what IDE controller? network? i know for linux virtio is way faster but for windows?? (im installing win2003 server) like i knwo the drivers are available: http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Paravirtualized_Network_Drivers_for_Windows but not sure if i really get a performance increase

for win2003, use IDE for block and e1000 for network. (but take care, the e1000 driver are included in win2003 and the device manager shows no problem but they do not work - you need to download the latest from the intel web site (Intel 1000 MT)
