MAfter upgrade from 9.0.6 to 9.1.2 the webgui does not show log anymore. I open "Administration -> Syslog" and the log window is empty. I still can read /var/log/syslog and the log entries are there. Just the gui does not show them to me. :-(

Yea, well I dont see ZFS worse than any other filesystem in stealing storage for itself. Today i got 6x5TB (30TB disk) that gives my in a RAIDZ2 19,41TB So thats just 600GB that is on the loose! ;-) So I guessed that a 3x5TB RAIDZ1 should give... -

JIch denke wenn du die VMs vom SMB-Share laufen lassen willst, dann werden die nicht sonderlich schnell sein. Da hast du dann ja doch ordentlich Latenzen wenn alles über das SMB-Protokoll laufen muss. Deutlich besser würde das wohl mit schnellerem...

I 100% agree with the patching, backups and firewall requirements. This has been the absolute minimum for perhaps 30+ years. But there are also some additional aspects, such as network isolation, PAWs/SAWs, the concept of least privilege... -
