The concept works, my policyguard python script uses python.dns to resolve the DNSBL. It is hooked in the receiver policy of postfix, so you can send back 5.1.1

Standard SysAdmin best practises from my perspective:
- tiny replaceable OS/root partitions
- Data storage to be separate from root/os storage

Hi Proxmox Team,
I would like to follow up on this topic again after some time.
I understand the previous concern that /etc/pve should not be used as a shared storage-like location, and I agree with that.
However, in this case, the user.cfg...

Hm - could not reproduce dig not providing any output in a container that I installed fresh from the ubuntu 26.04 template (guessed the version based on `1:9.20.18-1ubuntu2.1` version for bind9-dnsutils) - here it produces the root-nameservers...
Thanks for the report - seems the case of having /var/spool/pmg on a dedicated mount-point/filesystem in a container was missed while testing -
I sent a patch for discussion to the pmg-devel mailing-list. once this or an improved version has been...

Ich wundere mich gerade, dass es so funktioniert hat, ich bin mir sicher, dass ich das schon mehrfach versucht hatte, wahrscheinlich aber mit einzelenen Kernelversionen, udn er hing immer bei dem alten Kernel fest.

I hope you're updating before going live. EOL of 8.x is near.
Isn't that the default usecase for any non-small company? I have 6 VLANs at home with their corresponding WiFi APs in place to seperate networks properly.

Thanks for digging into this, and the pointers to the OVH documentation!
I was not aware that there is a way to explicitly tell which boot-entry to load - so that seems like a workaround if you want to keep the option to boot into rescue mode...
Hello,
I encountered the same problem after updating to Proxmox 9.2, whereas in Proxmox 9.1 the issue doesn't occur.
Since this happened on two different machines, with two mothercard series, I used IPMI to try to figure out what rEFINd was...
Look at Datacenter --> HA --> Affinity Rules --> HA Node Affinity Rules. Read about the "Strict" flag shown there.
Probably you can create two rules, one with the AMD nodes and one with the Intel nodes. Select the VMs to be "in" the...
Even then, AMD <-> Intel live migrations can break due to too many subtle differences and vendor-specific optimizations to guarantee that this could work independent of the used vCPU type; some types (like host) will make breakage much more...

I have been doing some testing with some VDI on proxmox and for the past two months was working fine.
Now I stumbled on a problem that I don't know what is the cause.
At this moment when I log in into the VDI the VM on proxmox screen blacks out...
