[SOLVED] Feature request: add column "VLAN" in overview of VMs/CTs

I just started using VLANs in Proxmox. It was really easy to set up and works well.

That said, I'm thinking it would be helpful to be able to add a volumn "VLAN" in the overview of VMs/CTs that you see when you click on "Search" on a "Datacenter" or "Node" level in the server view. This would allow you to quickly get an understanding which VM/CT is reachable via which VLAN.

You may create a "Feature Request / Bug" over at https://bugzilla.proxmox.com/ (after looking if there is one similar already). That's the recommended place as it is more closely watched by the developers than this forum.

There are staff members here (thank you for that!), but nevertheless...!

Just keep in mind that there are installations with 100s if not thousands VLANs.
There are already TAGs that can address your need in a way.

You definitely have a very, very good point... I guess I should retract my FR then?

I need to research into "tags", have never used it so far... Thanks for mentioning it...

"Tags" is the way to go -- I'm using it, and it looks exactly as I want it (and is even more powerful beyond my limited needs... ).
